Nadine Fabbi, the Managing Director of the Canada Studies Center of the Henry M. The invitation came at the suggestion of Jean-Francois Arteau who is a Fellow at the University of Washington. This invitation gave Avataa the opportunity to present and introduce the challenges and the rewards of owning and operating a business in the North. Among the group invited from Northern Canada, were Andy Moorhouse, Vice President, Economic Develoment, Makivik Corporation; Sean Lyall, Minister of Culture, Recreation and Tourism of Nunatsiavut Government; and Burton Ayles, Canada Member, Canada/Inuvialuit Fisheries Joint Management Committee.
